Administration Team Supervisor

GR8 Companies is looking for a Supervisor to provide leadership support and oversight to our Project Coordinator and Purchasing Teams. This department provides post-sales support to our Inside Sales Reps.

Reporting to the General Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for providing high-level, customer service, leadership and training support to new and existing Project Coordinators & Purchasing Associates. 

The Role: 

  • Overseeing overall workflow for Project Coordinator and Purchasing Teams, ensuring delivery upon department goals and objectives
  • Training and potentially delegating new projects for new and existing staff 
  • Sourcing of new vendors with collaboration from the team
  • Coordinating with Sales, Designers, Purchasing, Project Coordinators and manufacturing plant(s) to finalize products and quantities and meet client commitments 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow through on processes necessary for meeting crucial deadlines
  • Back-fill or assist during staff absences, if necessary 
  • Develop and manage key relationships both externally with our suppliers and customers and internally with staff and management

Desired Experience, Skills and Education 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative and customer service supervisory role
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a logistics coordination role within a 3PL environment considered a strong asset 
  • High school Diploma or higher
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and aptitude to learn other programs
